2007 & 2009:
In May 2010, IDA received the Excellence in Public Service 2010 Award offered by the Public Service Division. It received a similar award in 2007, which was formerly named the Public Service (PS) Awards. Introduced in 2000, the PS Awards recognises agencies that attain a cluster of standards. In IDA's case, its qualifying standards include the People Developer and ISO 9001 Certification formed this cluster of achievement for business excellence standards.
2010:
IDA received the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) STAR, which recognises organisations that have attained greater heights on the business excellence journey.
2004 & 2007:
IDA received the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) from SPRING Singapore. This overall business excellence standard certification is awarded every three years. Based on the internationally benchmarked business excellence framework, SQC provides organisations with a holistic model for business excellence. The SQC Certification is determined by an organisation's performance in the Business Excellence Assessment for Continuous Improvement (BEACON), which allows an organisation to benchmark its own management systems and practices against the international business excellence framework criteria.
2010 & 2007:
IDA received the People Developer (PD) Certification in September 2010 and also previously, on 31 August 2007 which is awarded by SPRING Singapore. PD is the certification for the business excellence niche standard for people. The PD Certification is determined by the organisation's performance in the Assessment of People Excellence (APEX). The assessment allows an organisation to benchmark its people management systems and practices against the niche standard.
2010:
In September 2010, IDA received the Singapore Innovation Class (I-Class) certification for the business excellence niche standard for innovation awarded by SPRING Singapore. The I-Class Certification is awarded based on IDA's performance in the Innovation Scorecard for Business Excellence (I-Score). The assessment allows IDA to benchmark its innovation management capabilities against the niche standards.
2001, 2004, 2007 & 2010:
IDA received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification in June 2010, which sets professional benchmarking standards in quality management systems for effective key business processes administered by certification bodies worldwide. IDA successfully renewed its ISO9001 certification in its Chief Information Office (GCIO) work for meeting the Quality Management System requirement that aims to enhance customer satisfaction.
2010:
IDA received three awards on 2nd July at the Singapore HR Awards 2010, organised by the Singapore Human Resources Institute. The Awards recognise individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to human resource practices in the workplace and workforce. IDA picked up the 'Employee Relations' and 'Corporate Learning' awards, including a special mention for the best in 'Talent Management'. Prior to this achievement, IDA also received three wins for the Singapore HR Awards for 'Performance Management', 'Learning & Human Capital Development' as well as 'Wealth & Employee Wellness'.
